Why this happens

Common reasons include:

  • You created multiple AdMob accounts using different emails
  • You previously had an AdSense account and created another one
  • Someone else (partner, developer, family member) used your payment details
  • You opened a new account after a suspension or closure
  • You manage apps for clients but used your own AdMob instead of theirs

How to solve the duplicate account issue

1. Identify the original account

Try to recall:

  • Which email you first used for AdMob or AdSense
  • Whether you ever used AdSense for YouTube, websites, or blogs

👉 Only ONE account is allowed per person or business.


2. Close extra AdMob accounts (very important)

If you can still access the duplicate account:

  1. Sign in to the extra AdMob account
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Close account
  3. Wait for confirmation
  4. Use only the original account moving forward
