✅ 1. Built-in Setting in Customizer

Hestia includes an option in the WordPress Customizer to control whether tags are shown on single posts.

1. Go to Appearance → Customize in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Navigate to Blog Settings → Posts & Pages.
3. Look for a toggle labeled Display Tags.
4. Turn it Off → Publish/save your changes.

📌 This option hides tags attached to your posts without code.

Note: In the pro version additional options might be available, but the free version already includes Display Tags control.

✅ 2. Use CSS to Hide Tags (Alternative)

If your version of Hestia doesn’t show a “Display Tags” option in the customizer, you can hide tags with a small CSS snippet:

1. Go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.
2. Paste this CSS:

}

3. Click Publish.

That will hide the tags section on all single post pages — useful when the theme doesn’t provide a direct toggle.

🧩 Where Tags Show Up

In Hestia, “tags” are part of the post meta shown below the post content. In the Customizer under Blog Settings → Posts & Pages you can choose to show/hide:

• Categories
• Tags
• Related posts section

Turning off “Display Tags” here directly removes them without CSS.

💡 Why You Might Still See Tags

If tags still show after CSS:

• Your theme version might use a different CSS class → inspect your site code to confirm the selector.
• A child theme or page builder template might override the default output.

🛠️ Bonus: Hide Other Post Meta (Date / Author / Categories)

If you want to hide other metadata (e.g., date or author) too, add similar CSS:
